I am an artist, poet, psychotherapist, and Qi Gong teacher who works in Somerville. In my art, I try to create a dynamic surface of color, texture, and composition that invigorates and energizes. Some of my work is rooted in objects and natural environments, while other pieces are purely abstract. I began this painting in San Miguel De Allende during a Summer vacation and then finished it in Somerville over a number of years. There are many layers of media on it that are filled with personal associations and allusions that span a significant period of time.
