In my decades at Vernon Studios, I have worked in a broad spectrum of materials, techniques, and styles in the fields of fine and applied art. In painting, I have worked in oil, acrylic, and watercolors. My sculptures in wood and plaster range from whimsical to practical, from a giant wooden walrus to a kayak that I designed, built, and decorated to facilitate painting while on the Charles River (and camp in it overnight too!).
